About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our team at Patty Shapiro. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Analysis
    • Gather and analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to develop accurate forecasts.
    • Develop and maintain forecasting models using business intelligence and statistical techniques.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and control inventory levels at warehouses to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
    • Analyze and review daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reports to identify inventory imbalances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for supply chain improvement and implement process changes.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Develop and present reports, charts, and tables to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Economics, Data Analysis, Statistics, or Finance.
  • APICS or other forecasting certification, an asset.
  • Advanced analytical and mathematical skills, with experience in statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of replenishment and inventory strategy, with experience in managing inventory levels and optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, with knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or Power BI, an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
