Position Overview:

Total Systems Solutions Consulting Inc. is in search of 3 experienced ServiceNow Senior Functional Consultants/Certified Implementation Specialists - SAM to support a public sector initiative. The role requires full-time availability, working remotely, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Project Context:

The Service Management Transformation Program (SMTP) is a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing IT service management operations through the deployment of the OCIO My Service Centre (My SC), a cloud-based IT service management solution powered by ServiceNow.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Proficient in managing software assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and enhancing SAM processes within the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow SAM module.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB modules.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows, forms, and integrations to facilitate SAM processes.

SAM Best Practices:

  • Thorough knowledge of industry best practices for software asset management.
  • Ability to design and implement effective asset tracking systems.

Process Optimization:

  • Proven success in optimizing SAM processes.
  • Experience in aligning SAM processes with broader IT and business strategies.

Client Engagement Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Skilled in analyzing hardware asset data.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware asset management within ServiceNow.

Project Management:

  • Experience in leading hardware asset management projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

ITIL and IT Service Management Frameworks:

  • Familiarity with ITIL and other relevant IT service management frameworks.

Data Management:

  • Experience in data modeling and ensuring data integrity within ServiceNow's SAM module.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or higher is a plus.
