Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the rail industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our railway products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for our railway products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
- Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including 2D and 3D models, and technical specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure that designs meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and delivery of mechanical components and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the railway industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA, and experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
