Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Grade 7 Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes, a Catholic elementary school in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Grade 7 students in a part-time capacity (0.4 FTE)
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and administration
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Requirements

  • BC Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of application for certification)
  • Commitment to Catholic Education
  • Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
  • Understanding of the Early Learning Framework of BC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
