We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 7 Teacher to join our team at Our Lady of Lourdes, a Catholic elementary school in West Kelowna, BC. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and safe learning environment for our students.

About Our School

Our Lady of Lourdes is part of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Nelson Diocese, a network of six elementary schools and one high school. We are committed to hiring qualified educators who share our values and are dedicated to education in the Roman Catholic tradition.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach Grade 7 students in a part-time capacity (0.4 FTE)
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and administration
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • BC Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of application for certification)
  • Commitment to Catholic Education
  • Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
