Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medicine department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patients, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional care team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
