Currently, we are seeking a proficient Legal Administrative Assistant with specialization in Litigation to enhance our Vancouver team. This role is a full-time opportunity based in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents pertinent to litigation with accuracy
- Assist in the initiation, preparation, and management of case files
- Manage daily correspondence efficiently
- Record time and collaborate with the billing department
- Conduct online searches and filings through relevant registries
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain an organized follow-up system for pending matters
- Perform additional administrative duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Legal Assistant or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of three years of experience in litigation support
- Familiarity with the rules of the B.C. Supreme Court
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with iManage and 3E is advantageous
- Dictation skills are preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
