Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at National Cable Specialists. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and storing merchandise, preparing orders, packaging products, and shipping orders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and merchandise is placed in the correct location.
  • Maintain productivity and safety in the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Unload trucks, verify merchandise for missing or damaged items.
  • Receive and verify shipments, placing merchandise in stock.
  • Locate pending customer orders and notify customers of their arrival.
  • Organize and reorganize stock as needed.
  • Maintain attractive product displays.
  • Select and package merchandise, and ship orders accurately and promptly.
  • Provide sales support at the counter, as needed, by greeting customers, preparing orders, merchandising, and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
  • Team player, adaptable, energetic, and positive professional attitude.
  • Demonstrated initiative for self-improvement in business and product skills.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proactive in seeking ways to improve warehouse productivity.
  • Must be able to handle items under 50lbs.
  • Valid forklift certification is an asset; otherwise, training will be provided.
