Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our team at the Assembly of First Nations. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of social development policies that promote the well-being of First Nations communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on social development policies and programs
  • Develop and implement policy recommendations to support the Assembly's social development goals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure policy alignment with organizational objectives
  • Provide technical assistance to First Nations communities on social development policy and program implementation
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social policy, public administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in policy analysis or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and policy information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
