Job Title: Dining Room Server

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Dining Room Server to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, answering questions and making recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage items, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized section, including all materials and areas.
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems.
  • Be aware of any special requests, including guest allergies.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset.
  • WSET II or above, or equivalent considered an asset.
  • At least 3 years of serving experience in a similar environment.
  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and sales ability.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
