Position Overview: Vantix Systems Inc is looking for a skilled Senior System Administrator / Network Engineer with expertise in Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 to manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure.

Work Arrangement: This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work, but candidates must be residents of Canada and work within the country at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Provide support for AWS/Azure infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, for automation and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity management protocols such as SAML and OAuth.
  • Monitor system performance using tools like SolarWinds, ensuring timely reporting and alerting.

Qualifications:

  • A degree from a recognized Institute of Technology or University in a relevant field, with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in infrastructure administration.
  • Alternatively, a Post Secondary Diploma in a related discipline with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Or, a related certificate with seven (7) years of experience in infrastructure administration.
  • Proficiency with Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange 2016, and VMware ESXi.
  • Experience with enterprise backup solutions and Storage Area Networks.
  • Familiarity with profile management solutions such as FSLogix is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of enterprise Public Key Infrastructure is a plus.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements, including lifting up to 35 kilograms.
