  • Exposure to cold and refrigerated conditions.
  • Work may be conducted in dusty, hot, noisy, and wet environments.
  • Outdoor settings are a primary focus.
Work Setting
  • Engagement with private contractors.
  • Tasks may be performed in rural areas and at various locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds.
  • Apply sand or salt on sidewalks to manage snow and ice.
  • Utilize equipment such as jackhammers and drills for pavement work.
  • Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks.
  • Clear debris and snow from streets and sidewalks, loading materials into carts or trucks.
Transportation Requirements
  • Must possess own transportation.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
