Job Title: Occupational Therapist

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bakerfield, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and experience working with patients who require rehabilitation services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions, including physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, and mental health conditions.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
  4. Provide education and training to patients and their families on how to maintain their independence and manage their conditions.
  5. Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure/certification in the state of California.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients and rehabilitation services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
