About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at On Set Glass. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality glass installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Glass Requirements

Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation project.

Measure and Cut Glass

Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications to ensure a perfect fit.

Install Glass and Hardware

Position and secure panes in frames, assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, and install door, window, and other hardware.

Prepare Shop Drawings

Prepare detailed shop drawings to ensure accurate installation and minimize errors.

Repair and Maintenance

Repair glass doors and other glass structures, and assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed.

Work at Heights

Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and operate man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.

Read and Interpret Blueprints

Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with industry standards.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail.
