Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Glazing Technician to join our team at Retroteck Window Mfg Ltd.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in glass installation and repair, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every project.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass with precision.
  • Position and secure glass panes within frames effectively.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass products, mirrors, and other glass structures.
  • Conduct repairs on glass doors and various glass installations.
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as necessary.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in installations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This role is physically demanding and requires bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
