Position Overview

Retroteck Window Mfg Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glazing Technician to join our team. This role involves working with various glass products and requires a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in glass installation is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to specified dimensions.
  • Position and secure glass panes within frames.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass products, mirrors, and other glass structures.
  • Perform repairs on glass doors and various glass installations.
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Work Environment

This position is physically demanding and may require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
