Job Summary

Konica Minolta is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Multi-Functional Products, resolving customer scanning and printing issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Multi-Functional Products to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform on-site service of Multi-Functional Products, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage parts and call management, as well as maintain accurate records to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products to provide expert service and support.
  • Lead referrals and product promotions to existing customers, while also providing break-fix and customer support services.
  • Understand and manage territory parts budget and inventory control.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of technical/repair experience with electronics or software equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft OS printing and common network concepts.
  • Basic awareness of common solutions and technologies.
  • Low to mid-end office systems certifications.
  • Basic color theory knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, with occasional assistance from colleagues.
  • Positive, outgoing, self-motivated, and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Travel within Canada and the US is required, with valid travel documents and insurance.
  • Own vehicle and valid insurance with appropriate coverage.
  • Standby and after-hours work may be required, including weekend travel and stay-overs.
  • High School or equivalent education.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification, CompTIA Net+ Certification, CompTIA CDIA+ Certification, Microsoft MCP or MCITP Certification (or equivalent experience).
