Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.
Your Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests.
- Ensure all areas of the casino are meticulously clean, well-stocked, and free from debris.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing floors.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise due diligence in preventing its misuse.
- Contribute to a safe environment by minimizing slip, trip, and fall hazards.
- Utilize cleaning supplies responsibly and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Foster positive relationships with patrons and colleagues.
- Embrace additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Facilities Manager.
- Minimum one year of cleaning experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of floor care, commercial cleaning products, and WHMIS regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your role.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently and safely within established timeframes.
- Successful completion of a criminal record and credit check through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
