We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our North America team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will play a critical role in helping us understand the financial story of our North American eCommerce business, Marketing spend, and Supply Chain spend allocation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the VP Marketing and North American commercial teams to gain financial insights and understand the success of their business.
- Own the budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for the Canadian & US eCommerce channel, including building forecasts tailored to each country, and presenting to senior finance and senior North American leadership teams.
- Work cross-functionally to analyze KPIs, draw insights from the business, and collect supplementary data to support the build of annual, monthly, and daily sales forecasts for the Canadian & US business.
- Dive into gross margin to better understand how price, volume, customer, channel, and product mix impacts the North American markets.
- Prepare and analyze P&Ls to understand the unique business drivers of eComm along with Marketing projects and Supply Chain spend allocation.
- Work closely with the Global FP&A and Accounting teams to prepare monthly accruals, month-end variance analysis, and close commentary.
- Build models, and other ad-hoc analysis to support initiatives in the Canadian & US market.
- Forecast and track Canadian capital expenditures.
- 4+ years in a financial planning and analysis role.
- Professionally designated as a CPA, MBA, or another equivalent financial designation.
- Prior experience in retail/wholesale channels for an apparel-based or CPG company.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership to share business insights and support them in understanding their business.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas and pivot tables, and experience building Excel templates and models.
- Executive-level communication and presentation ability is required, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional planning, organization, self-motivation, creative problem-solving, and analytic skills are essential to be successful in this role.
