Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our North America team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will play a critical role in helping us understand the financial story of our North American eCommerce business, Marketing spend, and Supply Chain spend allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the VP Marketing and North American commercial teams to gain financial insights and drive business growth.
  • Own the budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for the Canadian and US eCommerce channel.
  • Work cross-functionally to analyze KPIs, draw insights from the business, and collect supplementary data to support sales forecasts.
  • Delve into gross margin to understand the impact of price, volume, customer, channel, and product mix on the North American markets.
  • Prepare and analyze P&Ls to understand the unique business drivers of eCommerce, Marketing projects, and Supply Chain spend allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Global FP&A and Accounting teams to prepare monthly accruals, month-end variance analysis, and close commentary.
  • Build models and ad-hoc analysis to support initiatives in the Canadian and US market.
  • Forecast and track Canadian capital expenditures.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role.
  • Professionally designated as a CPA, MBA, or equivalent financial designation.
  • Prior experience in retail/wholesale channels for an apparel-based or CPG company.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to share business insights and support them in understanding their business.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables, and experience building Excel templates and models.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation ability, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional planning, organization, self-motivation, creative problem-solving, and analytic skills.
