About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Operations Lead to join our global team. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Configuration Management processes at both the local and global level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Configuration Management processes, ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Provide expert advice to the engineering team and other functions, promoting Configuration Management best practices.
  • Oversee the training, promotion, and oversight of Configuration Management processes at the site level.
  • Work with the transverse Configuration Management engineering teams to define and manage the global Configuration Management process implementation plan.
  • Ensure new processes for Safran Landing Systems are consistent with OneSafran and consider all our customers.
  • Coordinate Configuration Management process problems fixing and manage internal communication.
  • Work with the PLM support network to ensure ongoing support of PLM4.0 and subsequent evolutions of the tool.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of Configuration Management operations, procedures, and activities.
  • An understanding of planning activity and risk management principles.
  • Broad Configuration Management technical knowledge.
  • An understanding of planning activity and risk management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Facility with document and data management system(s) such as TeamCentre PDM/PLM.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Configuration Management.
  • Experience in aviation fields a definite asset.
  • Computer literacy.
