Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Indian Masala Bistro. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented to a high standard.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for improving restaurant operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
