Position Overview: Business Development Director at Spiria

As a pivotal member of our leadership team, the Business Development Director will report directly to the Regional Business Development Director for Ontario. This role is essential for cultivating and maintaining robust business relationships with prospective clients and partners, aimed at fostering substantial business expansion.

  • Proactively identify and target new business accounts and opportunities through effective networking and outreach strategies.
  • Serve as a representative of Spiria, engaging with stakeholders across both executive and operational tiers.
  • Comprehend the strategic and operational elements influencing client initiatives.
  • Act as a Business and Technology Consultant when necessary, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams.
  • Oversee the sales process and interact with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Encourage growth within existing client accounts and collaborate on service offerings with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in selling tailored B2B software solutions and professional IT services.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years in a comparable position.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong grasp of consultative selling methodologies and their intricacies.
  • Demonstrated success in securing new accounts across various markets.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving goals.
  • A broad network of business connections, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Proven ability to close deals effectively while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Innovative mindset for developing enduring business relationships.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot is preferred.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • A resilient team player who values collaboration and teamwork.
