The Business Development Director will report directly to the Regional Business Development Director for Ontario. This role is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining robust business relationships with prospective clients and partners, aimed at fostering new business expansion. The individual will be instrumental in propelling our business forward with ambitious objectives.

  • Proactively identify and target new accounts and business prospects through effective networking and outreach
  • Serve as a representative of Spiria, engaging with stakeholders at both executive and operational tiers
  • Comprehend the strategic and business elements influencing client initiatives
  • Act as a Business and Technology Consultant when required, collaborating seamlessly with the team
  • Oversee the sales process and interact with key decision-makers within client organizations
  • Encourage growth within existing accounts and collaborate on service offerings with team members

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in selling tailored B2B software solutions and professional IT services
  • A minimum of 6-8 years in a comparable position
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong grasp of consultative selling and its intricacies
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts across various markets
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving goals
  • Broad network of business connections, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Proficient in closing deals effectively while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Innovative mindset for fostering enduring business relationships
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot is preferred
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Resilient team player who values collaboration
