Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships, aligning with Quadra's core values and strategic vision
  • Sell Quadra's superior product line to potential customers through routine customer visits, joint calls, and industry events
  • Develop and utilize internal and external resources to showcase Quadra's reputation for service excellence
  • Successfully close new business opportunities by coordinating requirements, developing proposals, and conducting negotiations
  • Meet and/or exceed annual sales and margin objectives
  • Play a crucial role in assisting customers with troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities
  • Effectively manage deadlines and handle emergencies outside of business hours
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers/influencers
  • Prospect potential customers and current customers for new business
  • Regular reporting and scheduling using Quadra's digital tools
  • Participate in the yearly forecasting exercise

Requirements for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, science, or business (asset)
  • Minimum 5-8+ years' experience in a sales role selling in the industrial chemicals market
  • Proven expertise in driving new sales, prospecting, qualifying customer needs, and expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships with prospective customers
  • Proven ability in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • High degree of organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills
  • Comfortable working in a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel (about 40% of working time) with overnight travels
  • Proven computer skills and ability to learn and use digital tools
  • Valid driver's license and passport
