Position Overview: Veterinary Technician Assistant

Location: Collingwood, ON

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinary professionals with a variety of tasks and medical treatments.
  • Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere for pet owners and their companions.
  • Maintain a calm and positive environment for our patients, adapting to various situations as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the reception area, animal holding spaces, and communal areas are tidy.
  • Exhibit a willingness to expand knowledge regarding veterinary services and updated medical office protocols.
  • A certificate from a Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program is advantageous.
  • Possess a genuine affection for all companion animals.
