About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Retention Specialist to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As an Auto Retention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our existing clients and advising new and existing clients on how to best protect their assets when it comes to auto insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients and identify gaps in their coverage
  • Advise new and existing clients on how to best protect their assets with auto insurance
  • Offer solutions and proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and make referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines
  • Meet performance targets and develop new business
  • Continuously learn and develop skills to maintain licensing requirements and work towards career goals
Requirements
  • Interpersonal skills and excellent customer service
  • Ability to solve problems and handle rejection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions
  • Level 1 General Insurance license and willingness to obtain a Level 2 license
  • Experience with ICBC Autoplan Insurance
  • Ease with technology and ability to use multiple computer programs concurrently
