Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Holiday Inn & Suites Calgary South - Conference Ctr. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's systems and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Conduct minor repairs on appliances and equipment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
