About the Opportunity

As a Care Team Assistant with Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing direct, hands-on care to patients based on their needs. Working under the supervision of regulated health professionals, you will support patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. You will also reinforce patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.

About You

We are looking for individuals with a Continuing Care Assistant Program and Provincial Certification with the Department of Health and Wellness. Candidates must be registered and active with the CCA Registry. Additionally, we require effective listening skills, effective communication both verbally and in writing, and competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.

Hours

This is a full-time, long-assignment position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The assignment will commence in August and end in May, with dates subject to change.

Compensation and Incentives

The hourly rate for this position is $23.71 - $25.70.
