Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at BWO Hospitality Inc.. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests.

Employment Details

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The position is based in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust and clean furniture
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change linens
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Maintain cleanliness in elevators
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Respond to guests' requests for additional supplies
  • Provide basic information about facilities
  • Collect debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
Certifications
  • Housekeeping room attendant certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check required
Transportation Requirements
  • Own transportation is necessary
