Work Environment

The position is based in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and polishing
  • Dust and clean furniture
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered items
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Distribute fresh towels and toiletries
  • Organize and stock linen closets
  • Sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect elevators and common areas
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies
  • Provide basic information about hotel facilities
  • Clear debris and empty waste containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Maintain cleanliness in changing rooms and showers
  • Address guest complaints or concerns professionally
Certifications and Licenses
  • Certification as a Housekeeping Room Attendant

  • Completion of a criminal record check is required
Transportation Requirements
  • Personal transportation is necessary
