Network Security Transformation Consultant Manager

As the Manager of Domain Consulting, you will serve as the technical authority for your team of Domain Consultants. This team is dedicated to providing specialized knowledge and direction in the realm of network security and the zero trust framework. Collaborating closely with Solutions Consultant Managers and their District Sales Manager counterparts, you will foster relationships with clients to assist them in identifying and mitigating advanced cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the capabilities of your Domain Consultant teams, offering training and expert support. You will also relay insights to the product management team regarding feature enhancements and product advancements based on feedback from your clientele. Together with the systems engineering team, you will work to outmaneuver competing technologies, expand market presence among key accounts, and ensure that clients can confidently utilize our products for secure digital transactions.
Your Impact
- Recruit and onboard top-tier Domain Consultants into your team.
- Collaborate with peers to create a comprehensive training program for Domain Consultants.
- Mentor and evaluate team members, fostering their engagement and success.
- Build partnerships with Solutions Consultant Managers to guarantee comprehensive technology coverage in significant opportunities.
- Provide authoritative technical leadership during customer engagements, sharing insights on security trends and best practices.
- Step in as a Domain Consultant expert when team members face resource conflicts or require coverage.
- Drive innovation to enhance technical validation and proof of concept success rates for Network Security solutions.
- Present as a subject matter expert to clients at all organizational levels, from technicians to executives.
- Lead discussions on industry trends and shifts in the security landscape.
- Analyze competitor offerings and position our solutions as the superior choice.
- Support your team in documenting high-level designs and essential use cases to ensure effective implementation and value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Oversee and guide your team's technical validation strategies, including proof of value testing and customer readiness assessments.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients to reinforce reference accounts and assist account teams in strategizing for increased business.
- Act as a point of escalation for pre-sales issues and collaborate with post-sales teams to resolve any challenges.
- Engage with product teams to outline requirements and develop roadmaps for our network security clientele.
- Maintain a broad understanding of competitor sales strategies.
- Be prepared for 50% travel within the designated region.
Your Experience
- Proven experience managing customer-facing sales engineering or solutions architect teams.
- Over 5 years of experience in sales engineering related to Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.
- Strong grasp of next-generation firewalls, network security, SASE, CASB, proxy solutions, DLP, and BYOD strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of security product market trends and awareness of our technology development roadmap.
- Experience in delivering comprehensive security solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Experience in leading large teams, resource allocation, and managing engagements efficiently.
- Proficiency in English.
