About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Etro Construction Limited. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare comprehensive estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of pre-qualification submissions and bid documents.
  • Project Analysis: Analyze project requirements, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to determine work requirements and estimate costs.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors, and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
