Job Title: Gynecological Cancer Specialist

Vitalité Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Gynecological Cancer Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Gynecological Cancer Specialist will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with gynecological cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to patients with gynecological cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their loved ones.
  • Participate in research activities in the field of gynecological cancer.
  • Take an active part in teaching activities in the department, in close collaboration with the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau‐Brunswick.
Requirements
  • Degree from a recognized medical school and residency granting a licence in Gyneco-Oncology.
  • Recognized certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Recognized certification in gyneco-oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Active membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association or equivalent liability insurance association.
  • Membership with the New Brunswick Medical Society.
  • One to three years' experience will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to guide medical learners and to teach.
  • Written communication skills in the scientific and medical fields.
  • Good work history (performance and attendance).
