Job Title: Gyneco-Oncologist

Vitalité Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Gyneco-Oncologist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Gyneco-Oncologist will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with gynecological cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients with gynecological cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients and their loved ones.
  • Participate in research activities in the field of gynecological oncology.
  • Take an active part in teaching activities in the department, in close collaboration with the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau‐Brunswick.
  • Ensure adequate service coverage, including participation in an on-call rotation during statutory holidays, weekends, and evenings.
Requirements:
  • Degree from a recognized medical school and residency granting a licence in Gyneco-Oncology.
  • Recognized certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Recognized certification in gyneco-oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Active membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association or equivalent liability insurance association.
  • Membership with the New Brunswick Medical Society.
  • One to three years' experience will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to guide medical learners and to teach.
  • Written communication skills in the scientific and medical fields.
  • Good work history (performance and attendance).
