We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Projects Supervisor to join our team at the London District Catholic School Board.
About the Role:
The Capital Projects Supervisor will provide a variety of services, support, and training to address the system-wide capital projects space and data needs of the LDCSB staff and students. This includes facilities planning, project planning, project management, contract administration services, and supervising capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in building design, construction, and maintenance
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, municipal fire regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations
- Manage and maintain space databases, ECIS database, portable lease data, and eBase/Drawbase
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Architectural Technology, engineering Technologist, Electrical (Building) or Mechanical (HVAC) Design Program
- 2 years post-secondary education in Building Technology and/or Certified Trade through the Ministry of Skills and Training and includes relevant industry experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience supervising people in construction projects in a related field
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in an organized manner, and collaboratively in a team-based environment
