Job Title: Operations Supervisor

At Cadillac Fairview, we are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our shopping centre, including managing small projects, directing and coordinating staff activities, and providing regular feedback and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the activities of direct reports to ensure timely achievement of department goals
  • Provide regular motivation and mentoring to staff to encourage ongoing professional development
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of annual operating expense and capital budgets
  • Coordinate the completion of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work
  • Oversee all construction performed by external trade contractors
  • Order necessary parts and services required to maintain efficient operation of the Centre
  • Prepare accurate and concise reports to ensure management is provided with accurate information
  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures to ensure the building is safe for all occupants and users
Requirements:
  • Grade or equivalent
  • Diploma in Building Environmental Systems offered through Community College
  • Stationary Engineer Class Certificate, SMA (BOMA) or Building Environmental Systems II
  • Minimum years experience in physical Operations management, with at least years supervisory experience, preferably in a shopping centre, office or mixed use environment
  • Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, plumbing/carpentry skills, current technology, HVAC, electrical/mechanical systems, PM Program - Maximo, and Computer literacy
