Machine Learning Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Key Responsibilities:
The Machine Learning Specialist will:
- Analyze business objectives and convert them into machine learning strategies.
- Effectively convey technical information and findings to non-technical audiences in a straightforward manner.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to discover new avenues for machine learning implementations and models.
- Ensure that machine learning models are consistent with the organization's strategic vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with software development teams to implement and maintain machine learning models in operational settings.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, applying this knowledge to enhance the performance of applications and benefit the team.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, database management (SQL), statistical analysis, and data manipulation techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience in executing and contributing to practical machine learning projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, along with effective collaboration abilities.
- A robust work ethic and the capacity to handle sensitive information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes (GIT, Jenkins, etc.) and MLOps (MLFlow).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.
