POSITION SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities:

The Machine Learning Specialist will:

  • Analyze business objectives and convert them into effective ML strategies.
  • Articulate complex technical ideas and findings to non-technical audiences in an understandable way.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to discover new avenues for ML integration and model development.
  • Ensure that ML initiatives align with the organization's strategic vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to implement and maintain ML models in operational settings.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in ML and AI, applying this knowledge to enhance application performance and team benefits.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, along with experience in database management (SQL), statistical analysis, and data interpretation techniques.


  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Proven experience in executing real-world machine learning projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with a focus on collaboration.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in deploying ML models in production environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices (GIT, Jenkins, etc.) and MLOps (MLFlow).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues.
