Key Responsibilities:
The Machine Learning Specialist will:
- Analyze business objectives and convert them into actionable ML strategies.
- Articulate complex technical ideas and findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to discover new possibilities for ML implementations and models.
- Ensure that ML initiatives are in harmony with the organization’s strategic vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with software development teams to implement and maintain ML models in live environments.
- Keep abreast of advancements in ML and AI, applying insights to enhance application performance and team outcomes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient programming abilities in languages such as Python, along with expertise in database management (SQL), statistical analysis, and data interpretation techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Proven experience in developing and executing real-world machine learning applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills in both French and English, along with effective collaboration abilities.
- High degree of professionalism and capacity to handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in deploying machine learning models in production settings.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes (GIT, Jenkins, etc.) and MLOps (MLFlow).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.
