Position Summary:

We are seeking a Corporate Strategy Analyst who will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic initiatives. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct financial models to assess potential partnerships and investment prospects while overseeing current investments.
  • Evaluate financial statements, forecasts, and valuations to ascertain the strategic and financial feasibility of opportunities, providing informed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate due diligence and risk evaluations for prospective transactions.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to refine the corporate growth strategy.
  • Work alongside the Corporate Controller and FP&A to create operating cash flow forecasts, enhance visibility into global cash positions, optimize working capital, and establish key performance indicators.
  • Conduct cash flow analysis and reporting for all corporate accounts.
  • Manage daily cash monitoring across all accounts to ensure liquidity for obligations and investments.
  • Monitor foreign exchange rates and collaborate with the Corporate Controller to devise strategies for optimizing currency conversion.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining treasury and investment policies and operational controls.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and changes in tax regulations affecting financial modeling.
  • Support the annual Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance review.
  • Assist with bookkeeping for select entities.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, valuation, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Pursuit of or designation as CFA/CPA/CBV is advantageous.
  • Experience with multi-currency operations in medium to large organizations with multiple entities.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite is a plus.
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and organizational levels.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary for this position is $81,000 per annum, with actual compensation based on education, experience, and internal equity.
