Position Overview

As a Guest Services Representative at Baymont by Wyndham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at providing exceptional service and maintaining the operational efficiency of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Welcome guests upon arrival, efficiently assigning rooms and processing check-ins.
  • Reservation Management: Handle room bookings, including taking, modifying, and canceling reservations as needed.
  • Information Provider: Offer detailed information regarding hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
  • Check-Out Procedures: Manage guest departures, calculating charges and processing payments accurately.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Keep track of room availability, reservations, and assignments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Emergency Protocols: Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure guest and staff safety.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying as required.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, relay messages, and assist guests with special requests.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Work Environment

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to stand for extended periods and manage tasks under pressure.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a client-focused approach.
Work Conditions

This position is a permanent role requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication will be English.
