Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to provide strategic support within our organization.


Reporting Structure:
The HR Consultant will report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner and will play a vital role in various Human Resources functions, contributing to initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily HR operations, including comprehensive recruitment processes, performance management, and crafting job descriptions.
  2. Collaborate with management to address performance-related and disciplinary matters.
  3. Facilitate employee relations by ensuring adherence to company policies in a fair and equitable manner.
  4. Oversee the processing of claims related to short-term disability, workers' compensation, Employment Insurance, and long-term disability to ensure timely and accurate management.
  5. Participate in various HR projects and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  1. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruitment; familiarity with compensation and total rewards is advantageous.
  3. CHRP designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of various HR functions and current employment laws.
  6. Process-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
  8. Dedication to client service, teamwork, and collaborative efforts.
  9. Proficient in organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  10. Ability to maintain professionalism in diverse situations.
  11. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  12. Demonstrated skills in consulting, coaching, and facilitating.
  13. Proficient in building and sustaining relationships, with clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
