Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jaylaxmi Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Staff Management
    • Hire food service staff
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Jaylaxmi Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
