At Amica Senior Lifestyles, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our senior living community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise community staff, including front-line staff and department heads
- Develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets
- Collaborate with corporate sales and marketing to develop marketing plans and promote the community
- Conduct tours of the community to families, potential residents, and other stakeholders
- Ensure policies, programs, and procedures are carried out consistently and accurately
- Minimum of five years of senior management experience in the hospitality field or retirement community
- Experience in a residential care setting, with education in gerontology an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to assess the performance level of managers and provide constructive feedback
- Proven ability to create succession plans and mentor upcoming leaders
