About the Role:

Jobber is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development to join our People department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and driving business success through strategic talent management.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Talent Development will oversee a team of HR Business Partners and collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention. You will focus on fostering strong relationships with leaders, aligning initiatives with business objectives, and driving programs that improve organizational efficiency and employee performance as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a team of HR Business Partners in executing talent management strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and business unit heads to understand their needs and develop solutions that drive success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement talent management strategies and programs.
  • Utilize Jobber's talent management strategy to drive performance through existing programs and develop new solutions.
  • Offer expert advice on talent matters and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
  • Drive change management efforts to cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Lead projects to enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Analyze talent data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights on the evolving business landscape.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in talent business partnering or leadership roles, preferably in a growing tech company.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into talent initiatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Experience in change management, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Resilience and innovation in overcoming challenges.
