Key Responsibilities:

  1. Direct and manage significant equipment contracting activities to guarantee the successful fulfillment of contract obligations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
  2. Formulate and implement a comprehensive contracting strategy, fostering robust relationships with subcontractors.
  3. Negotiate pricing and terms while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and risk-sharing agreements.
  4. Monitor adherence to contractual commitments and program timelines, while evaluating performance metrics.
  5. Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
  6. Conduct supplier performance assessments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  7. Maintain data integrity across all operational systems.
  8. Oversee budget management, scheduling, and progress reporting.
  9. Analyze key performance indicators to inform strategic planning.
  10. Prepare and deliver presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Lead a specialized team focused on various aspects of the supply chain workflow.
  12. Provide leadership that fosters high performance and alignment with organizational standards.
  13. Continuously enhance the capabilities of the team through development initiatives.
  14. Build and sustain strong supplier relationships to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
  1. A post-secondary degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is required; a master's degree is advantageous.
  2. Experience in strategic supply chain management within an industrial or manufacturing context is essential.
  3. Proven track record in people management and team development.
  4. Familiarity with category management in sectors such as Aerospace, Manufacturing, Oil, or Defense.
  5. Experience with long-term contracts involving complex risk management.
  6. Knowledge of document control and configuration management in a defense context is preferred.
  7. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are necessary.
