Clinical Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at NL Health Services. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing specialized clinical nutrition services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive individualized nutrition assessments and develop care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care and develop evidence-based protocols and guidelines for clinical nutrition.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to clinical nutrition.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Human Nutrition or equivalent supplemented by a 1-year internship and a Registered Dietitian (RD) professional designation.
- Eligibility or current membership in the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Dietitians.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in renal nutrition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

- Considerable experience as a Professional Dietitian.
This is a permanent part-time position with 56.25 hours bi-weekly. Shift work may be required.
