Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Canuck Express. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our commercial fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair Freightliner and Hino trucks, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Work on Detroit, Cummins, and Hino after-treatment systems, and possess knowledge of welding techniques for steel and aluminum.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement cost-saving measures and improve overall fleet performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our fleet remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience as a 310T Truck and Trailer Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fleet maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
