At Davidson Contract Services, we are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust and repair parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders

Requirements:

  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • 1-7 months of experience in truck repair and maintenance
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
